Co-defendant, represented by other private counsel, was convicted of murder and is serving life. Each defendant had a separate jury, and Mr. Lawrence did two jury trials to achieve these results.

Defendant was sentenced to 6 years at half time. The verdict was overturned on appeal for issues Mr. Lawrence briefed during trial; Mr. Lawrence did not handle the retrial of the case.
